CDA Chairman meets Planning Wing to discuss urban development
Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, held discussions on urban development strategies with the Planning Wing on Saturday 11th May, as mentioned in a press release by the CDA.
During the meeting, the Planning Wing provided insights into its organizational structure and key responsibilities, covering areas such as master planning, zoning regulations, infrastructure development, urban renewal, public consultation, and coordination with government agencies.
The Chairman emphasized the pivotal role of the Planning Wing in guiding the city’s growth and ensuring its long-term sustainability. He highlighted that effective urban planning is crucial for creating vibrant and livable cities, with the Planning Wing playing a central role in achieving this objective.
“The Planning Wing is the backbone of our city’s development efforts,” stated the Chairman. “Their expertise and dedication are vital in creating sustainable urban environments that meet the needs of our residents, support economic growth, and enhance overall quality of life,” he further said.
